Corn Nation Overreaction: Husker Football Ends 2024 with Pinstripe Bowl Win

On the final Overreaction of the season, Greg and Hoss break down Nebraska’s 20-15 win in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl.

There were a lot of stories heading into this game and seemingly as many stories coming out of it. Winning the program’s first bowl game since 2015 ensures the team’s winning season. It sends the sixth-year guys out with a win. And Rahmir Johnson is crowned the game’s MVP in front of friends and family in his hometown.

The game was very typical Nebraska, a tale of two halves. Nebraska led 13-2 at halftime before taking a 20-2 lead in the third quarter. But Boston College kept clawing and scraping, scoring the game’s final thirteen points to make it just a little too interesting.

What did Hoss see in this contest? What do we have to build on? What changes need to be made immediately?

GBR!
