It’s that time of the year, Husker fans. Spring Football has arrived, and on Saturday, Memorial Stadium will be filled with the ‘Sea of Red’ once again in support of the annual ’glorified scrimmage.’

Hosts Jake Sorensen and Will Grubb debate who will be this year’s breakout star in the Spring Game. They also duke it out over whether Ameer Abdullah or Aaron Green will become the main back-up to ‘Superman’ Rex Burkhead. They also talk about what newcomers to watch out for, and the age-old question on what to expect out of Taylor Martinez and Brion Carnes. What will be the magic remedy for the defense? Can Mohammed Seisay make the loss of Alfonzo Dennard less painful? Jake and Will cover all this and more.

It’s bowl season! While some of you may take that as a bad thing, many of you (including us) enjoy the bowl season, as it allows us to see a bunch of mediocre teams play each other! (just kidding). In this final episode of Husker CornCast of the year, hosts Jake Sorensen and Will Grubb break down the Nebraska-South Carolina Capitol One Bowl game, and determine if it will be a B1G victory or an SEC triumph. They also select their Husker players of the year and newcomers of the year. Finally, they dig into the BCS bowls and select those winners, too.

Nebraska has already taken down one of the Michigan schools (Michigan State); now can they take down the Wolverines on the road?

Hosts Jake Sorensen and Will Grubb are joined by Brian Cook of Michigan football website MGoblog.com, to discuss if either of the mobile QBs (Denard Robinson and Taylor Martinez) will be able to amount a passing game against each other’s defense. They discuss the difference head coach Brady Hoke has made on the Wolverines suddenly imposing defense, and why Michigan is ranked 5th in total defense in the nation. Tune in for the predictions by Brian and both Will and Jake, for you might be in for a surprise.
